Toltrazuril: single dose - long lasting effect

Coccidiosis is one of the most costly diseases in swine production, and can set back piglet growth by as much as 2-3 kg. “Neonatal” coccidiosis caused by Isospora suis usually occurs in confinement-raised, one to three week old, nursing piglets and is less frequent and severe in older recently weaned piglets. Coccidiosis occurs in all countries where confinement rearing and continuous farrowing are practiced.

Most producers simply cannot afford lost production of this magnitude. The parasites are prolific in the environment with 95% of infections subclinical. Once ingested, they multiply quickly and damage the intestinal lining, leading to diarrhea, blood loss and reduced absorption capacity. Ceva, always it has been committed with veterinarians and farmers, and has a team of experts dedicated to helping producers and practitioners in their daily work to ensure the best and most healthy performances on farm. That is why, we are proud to announce the arrival of Cevazuril®50mg/ml, for the control of diarrhea in pigs.
